Schools

Finding a new school
Now that you have decided to move and have over a hundred things going threw your mind, you must not forget your children’s education. And this subject may not seem as easy as it sounds. Most countries out side the US teach at different learning levels, acquire different requirements, and even start a school year at a different time. For example some school years begin in January.
These are all thinks to consider!
Your children might have to skip a grade or may even be put back a grade. This can be very stressful for your child. Not to say that missing all there friends back home and having to make new friends at your new location isn’t stressful enough.
You can help to make this whole transition much easier by trying to find out if there favorite hobbies and sports are available in your new destination. You might want to enroll your children in these hobbies to keep there mind off the whole transition. Most cities and towns have their own websites and this is a good place to start your search.
If you get a chance to take a pre move trip to your new destination, this might be a good time to review and evaluate potential schools. And if possible try to allow you children to finish there school year in there hometown before moving.
